SimplyFile folder options window

You can use the Folder Options Window to tell SimplyFile to exclude certain folders from its standard processing logic.

For example, if you never file messages into your Archive Folders, you can exclude them from displaying in the QuickPick window and from been offered as a filing destination.

Another good use case is when you have a large and slow Public Folder tree. You can exclude parts of that tree which you are not using, so the QuickPick window does not waste time looking for these folders, and therefore opens faster.

You can open this window using:

Folder Options Window Commands

SimplyFile Options For Folder

Shows the name of the folder for which to set options. Defaults to the current folder.

Select Folder (Folder Options)

Select a folder for which to set options.

Do Not Show This Folder And Its Subfolders In QuickPick

Exclude this folder from the QuickPick folder list.

Do Not Suggest This Folder As A Filing Destination

Exclude this folder from filing suggestion candidate folders. (Does not apply to subfolders).
