To install SimplyFile v5:
- Click the button above, then click Open or Run when prompted by the browser.
- Follow the installation wizard instructions to complete installation. Be sure to close Outlook during installation.
After installation, please take a few moments to go through the Quick Start Guide. And do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments.
Need a different installer?
- All-users installer - installs for everyone on the computer. Requires administrator rights.
- MSI installer - for enterprise deployment, available by request.
Important: If you are re-installing using a different installer type than before, uninstall the previous version first.
SimplyFile v5 System Requirements
- Microsoft® Windows® 10, 11, 2016, 2019, 2022 (64 and 32 bit) with the latest updates.
- Outlook 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, 2024, Microsoft 365 (64 and 32 bit) with the latest updates.
- "New Outlook" is not supported.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.1 or newer.
- Enterprise-ready.
- Due to issues with GSuite (and Google Apps Sync), it is not supported.
- Using Outlook with Gmail via IMAP? Read this first.
- SimplyFile End User License Agreement (EULA). Uninstall info.
Old version download (v4 and older)
Old releases are available for download below. We no longer provide customer support or updates - including security patches - for these versions, so we strongly encourage upgrading to v5. New features and enhancements make the product you rely on even better, and it's the only version that receives ongoing updates. Licensed v4 users are eligible for upgrade discounts.
