Many Outlook users save email messages as files in MSG format. There are two standard ways to do that: drag and drop, and using Outlook "Save As" command. Both of these methods have several issues. One of the biggest is the fact that the use the current time for the file "Date Modified" timepstamp, as opposed to the time when the message was received. This makes it harder to find the right file later.
