Installation and Compatibility¶
How do I install and activate the product?¶
First, download and install the trial version of the product, if you have not already done so. Run the installer and follow the prompts. If you have a license, be sure to install the version for which you are licensed.
Click Get Full Version in the upper-right corner of the main window.
Be sure to save your license key email in a safe place. You will need it if you decide to move the product to a new computer in the future.
What operating systems are supported?¶
Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 2012 R2, 2016 with the latest Service Pack. Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.6 or newer is required.
How do I install the product for all users on a computer or a Terminal Server?¶
The default EXE installer installs the product for the current user only. We do provide a separate MSI installer for Administrators installing for all users.
How do I transfer my JumpToWindow license to a new computer?¶
Please see this section of the User Guide.
How many licenses do I need?¶
You need one license for each computer where you install the product. If multiple users use the same computer (not at the same time), you only need one license for that computer, unless it is a shared server environment, such as Terminal Server, Citrix, etc. In that case, you need a license for each user who has an ability to run the product on that server. (Named user license, rather than concurrent license).
How are windows sorted in the main window?¶
The windows are listed in the order of last use.
How can I exclude some windows from the list?¶
This is something we are considering for a future release. In the meantime, simply type your search word fragments, and windows that do not match will be filtered out.
